2018 WAM Concert

On April 8th, 2018 we hosted the inaugural concert titled “Women in Art Music: A Celebration” at Shindell Choral Hall at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. This concert aims to bring Rutgers students into the orbit of WAM, showcasing women composers, performers, patrons, and impresarios during five centuries of music history. Audience members can expect to learn about these women as well as hearing their work performed.

Participation in this annual concert is open to students of the Music Department at Mason Gross and will take place annually during the spring term. The next concert will take place in Shindell Hall on April 7th at 5 pm. Contact us if you would like to be involved as a performer or planner, or in some other way!
