The WAM editorial team welcomes proposals for profiles on the history and practices of women in art music. WAM is not an encyclopedia, so profiles should not simply summarize the life or career of a given person or collection of people. Rather, we aim to present new research with a clear position or thesis in a way that will be accessible to a broad public audience.

If you would like to propose a WAM profile, please contact the editorial team at rutgers_wam@email.rutgers.edu. We will work together with you to complete this Template, which outlines your thesis and the “story” that you want to tell.
